Carolyn Villa is an experienced project manager and field ecologist currently employed at V3 Companies since September 2014, specializing in ecological restoration of native prairie and wetlands with a focus on invasive species control. Previous roles include horticulture volunteer at Missouri Botanical Garden - Shaw Nature Reserve, where Carolyn collaborated on tasks in native plants gardens, sustainability intern at The Green Institute at Heartland Community College, managing events and social media, and garden manager for the IWU Peace Garden at Illinois Wesleyan University, overseeing garden operations and educational programs. Carolyn began a foundational career as a waste advocate at GSK, contributing to landfill waste evaluations and process improvements. Carolyn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies-Ecology from Illinois Wesleyan University, completing studies in 2014.
