Steve Holmes has a diverse and extensive work experience. Steve is currently serving as the President of MARINE CORPS TANKERS ASSOCIATION. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President Southeast Region at UZURV.
From 2011 to 2019, Steve worked as the Executive Director at the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged, where they ensured the coordination of transportation services for vulnerable populations. Steve also served as the Chief Operating Officer at the Florida Veterans Foundation in 2011.
Before that, Steve spent several years at the Florida Department of Children and Families in various leadership roles. Steve also worked as the Chief of Staff and Chief of Strategic Planning at the Florida Department of Children and Families.
Furthermore, Steve contributed to the training and education of senior commanders and staffs through their roles as Operations Officer at the Marine Air Ground Task Force Staff Training Program and Future Operations Officer at III Marine Expeditionary Force. Steve also attended Marine Corps Command and Staff College as a student.

Steve Holmes has a diverse education history. Steve obtained an Associate in Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Lincoln College in 1977. In 1981, they attended The Basic School - USMC, followed by the Armor Officer Basic Course in 1982. Steve then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration with a focus on Criminal Justice from National University in 1981. Steve continued their studies at National University, earning a Master of Arts degree in Management with Distinction in Business Management from 1985 to 1987. Steve also completed the Armor Officer Advanced Course in 1988. Finally, they attended the Marine Corps Command and Staff College from 1994 to 1995, specializing in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies.
