Ilse Goovaerts is a Clinical Embryologist and Quality Manager at UZA since October 2011, specializing in infertility investigations and performing procedures such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF). Prior to this role, Ilse worked as a DVM and PhD student in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Antwerp from October 2004 to October 2011, focusing on bovine in vitro embryo production and oocyte quality. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Antwerp (2004-2012) and a high distinction in Veterinary Medicine from Ghent University (1997-2004). Currently, Ilse is pursuing a degree as a Senior Clinical Embryologist through ESHRE, starting in 2019.
