Kathleen Segers has extensive experience in the medical field, primarily at UZ Gent since 1990, where roles include Zorgcoordinator Complexe Chirurgie Slokdarm en Pancreas, Clinical Research Coordinator for Algemene en Hepatobiliaire Heelkunde, and assistant manager in the klinisch ondersteunende sector. Additional experience includes a position as studynurse at CEVAC, the center for vaccinology. Prior to UZ Gent, Kathleen Segers worked at the Laboratorium voor klinische biologie from 1985 to 1990, and began a career in nursing with education completed in Verpleegkunde from 1983 to 1985.
