Mercedes Marin is a Scientific Communications Specialist at UV Medico since July 2021, with previous experience as a BioMedical Design Fellow at the BioMedical Design Novo Nordisk Foundation Fellowship Programme, focusing on innovative healthcare solutions. Prior roles include Independent Consultant at ATS, supporting pharmaceutical and biotech projects, and R&D Scientist at NuSil Technology, where involvement included the development of drug delivery implants and risk assessments. Mercedes also served as a Regulatory Specialist and Quality Control Technician at Cellap Laboratoire, managing safety testing and regulatory compliance for cosmetic products. Early career experiences include internships at Nestlé Suisse and European Membrane Institute of Montpellier, as well as research at Paul Scherrer Institut. Education includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Murcia and a Regulatory Affairs Certificate for medical devices from RAPS.
