Beki Romeis-Markham, EdD, serves as the Assistant Professor in Practice of Early Childhood Education at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley since September 2024. Beki brings extensive experience in early childhood education, including roles as an Adjunct Professor at Florida SouthWestern State College, Research Assistant at Drexel University, and Elementary School Teacher for the School District of Lee County. Beki's previous positions include Curriculum Specialist at Guadalupe Center, Inc. and Programs Coordinator at Golisano Children's Museum of Naples, focusing on innovative educational practices and community engagement. Beki holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Florida State University, along with various degrees and certifications related to early childhood education and curriculum development.
