Lina Cox currently serves as the Technology Transfer Manager at Oxford Brookes University, a position held since November 2024. Previously, Lina worked as a European Patent Attorney and Trainee Patent Attorney at J A Kemp from October 2020 to October 2024. In addition, Lina was the Oxford Informals Regional Representative for The Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys from October 2021 to October 2023. Early academic involvement includes a Research Assistant role at the University of Oxford from September 2019 to September 2020, contributing to research in the Department of Chemistry under Professor Tom Brown. Lina holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London and a Master of Chemistry from the University of Oxford. Additionally, Lina gained diverse experience through internships and student roles in various organizations, including blogs for The Oxford Scientist and work in the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital research department.
