Florian Hupkes has extensive experience in fundraising and communication, currently serving as the Head of Fundraising at Utrechts Landschap since January 2016, where the focus is on protecting nature and heritage in the province of Utrecht. Prior to this, Florian held the position of Project Manager of Corporate Communication at Nederlandse Spoorwegen, overseeing significant projects such as the commemoration of 175 years of rail service. Additional roles include teaching geography at Gerrit van der Veen College, guiding groups in Iceland as a trip leader for Askja Reizen, and managing the rolling stock collection at Het Spoorwegmuseum. Florian also has a background in fundraising and sponsorship at Het Spoorwegmuseum, contributing to successful initiatives including securing funding from the BankGiro Loterij. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Fundraising from 3F Academy and a teaching degree in geography from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
