Karl Backlund currently serves as the Head of Marketing and Communications at Proper Group since June 2022, after holding the position of Director of Corporate Communications. Previously, Karl was with Credit Suisse for six years, initially as a Communications Specialist (Vice President) in International Wealth Management and later as a Communication and Business Management (AVP) professional in IWM Europe. Prior experience includes roles as Marketing and Communications Officer at the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, Communications Advisor at McKinsey & Company, and PR-assistant/Communicator at Danderyds Sjukhus AB, along with an internship at Edelman. Karl holds a degree from Lund University, attended from 2011 to 2014.
