Helena Baugstø is a legal professional currently serving as an Adviser at The Norwegian Directorate of Immigration since May 2021, specializing in issues related to children and unaccompanied minor asylum seekers. Helena is an active member of the Working Environment Committee for Juristforbundet since March 2022 and serves as a Trust Representative for Juristforbundet at UDI. Additional roles include Head of the Organizing Committee for the Nordic Legal Research Group in 2021/2022 and National Coordinator for ELSA Norway. Helena has previously held positions as a board member for the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association Norway and as a freelancer and associate at Advokatfirmaet Eurojuris Haugesund AS, along with legal internships at various organizations including the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws from the University of Bergen, an exchange semester at the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Stavanger.
