Luke Saladyga has extensive work experience in the field of data center engineering. Luke began their career at Google in 2010, where they worked in various roles, starting as an Associate Data Center Facilities Manager and later advancing to Senior Data Center Engineer and Staff Data Center Engineer. In these positions, they specialized in medium and low-voltage infrastructure builds, control systems, and Power Monitoring System (PMS) integrations. Luke also led projects involving the design and prototyping of next-generation electrical infrastructure for Google's data center fleet. Prior to their time at Google, Luke worked at UtilityInnovation Group as a Principal Systems Engineer. Luke also has experience in the US Navy, serving in various roles such as Special Projects Officer, SRA Coordinator, Communications Officer, and Electrical Assistant. In these roles, they gained expertise in project management, coordination, and technical equipment maintenance.
Luke Saladyga obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Luke later pursued an Executive MBA with a focus on the Management of Technology (MoT) Track at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, attending from 2022 to 2023. In February 2022, they also completed the "Learn Git & GitHub Course" offered by Codecademy, earning a certification in the process.
