Shawn James currently serves as the Manager of College Scouting and Pro Personnel Scout for the Utah Jazz since July 2019. Prior to this role, Shawn was the Basketball Operations Assistant for the Salt Lake City Stars from October 2018 to August 2022 and owned Trimz&Co Styling Bar from June 2017 to August 2022. Shawn has a strong background in professional basketball, having played for various teams including Olympiacos FC, C.D. Basket Bilbao Berri S.A.D., EA7 Emporio Armani, Maccabi Tel-Aviv Basketball Club, and Bnei Herzliya Basketball Club between 2008 and 2016. Shawn's educational background includes attendance at Northeastern University from 2004 to 2006 and Duquesne University from 2006 to 2008.
