Nathan Smith

Nathan Smith is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in instructional technology and learning sciences. Currently serving as Retired - Emeritus Faculty at Utah State University, Nathan has held various leadership roles, including Director of Technology for the College of Education & Human Services and Director of the Adele & Dale Young Education Technology Center. Nathan's focus on technology integration has led to the development of a new course aimed at equipping pre-service educators with essential technology skills, impacting approximately 400 students annually. Additionally, Nathan has substantial experience on the Board of Directors for the Utah Coalition for Educational Technology and has a solid background in teaching elementary education from prior roles in the Washington County School District. Nathan holds a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Utah State University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University.
