Anjela Sullenger is an experienced animal behavior and rehabilitation professional currently serving as Senior Manager of Behavior Rehabilitation at the ASPCA since March 2023, and as Senior Manager of Adoptions and Behavior at the Utah Humane Society since May 2018. Responsibilities include direct supervision of adoptions and behavior staff, managing shelter operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and creating community behavior resources. Anjela has developed impactful training programs while managing behavior assessments for thousands of animals annually. Prior roles include Kennel Supervisor at Adopt-A-Pet, Inc., Adjunct Instructor at Rochester College, and Conservation Biologist at The Toledo Zoo, complemented by a Master's Degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Michigan and multiple Zoology degrees from Michigan State University.
