Darrell Simmons is an experienced Project and Program Engineer with a diverse background in engineering across various industries. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at General Dynamics Land Systems since November 2021, Darrell is responsible for planning and executing product development for Tracked Programs, managing project schedules, costs, processes, and risks. Previous roles include Project Engineer at Beaver Aerospace & Defense, Program Engineer at MHSI, Senior Program Engineer at Cooper Standard, and Project Engineer at Usui International Corporation, covering responsibilities from managing engineering activities for pre-launch programs to overseeing multiple production programs for fuel systems. Darrell's experience also includes quality manufacturing engineer roles at Ford Transmission Plant and Eagle-Linamar Plant, as well as supervisory and engineering positions earlier in the career. A graduate of Central State University with a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering, Darrell combines technical expertise with leadership skills in the engineering domain.
