Jori Verbeek has a diverse work experience in the medical technology field. In 2015, they worked as an Interaction Designer at Philips Design, where they focused on developing interface and interaction concepts for clinical settings. From 2016 onwards, Jori served as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder for both Usono and Envision Medical, two companies dedicated to improving vascular access procedures and ultrasound guidance. At Usono, they managed various business operations, funding rounds, and international strategies while leading multiple new product development processes. Prior to that, Jori worked as a UX Consultant for ALTEN Nederland, providing user experience-related assistance to Philips Design. Jori also served as a Project Manager for Medical Technology at Holland Innovative - Projects & Training from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Jori is the Chief Technology Officer at IVA Medical, focusing on simplifying and improving safe access to the bloodstream.
Jori Verbeek has a Master's Degree in Industrial Design from Eindhoven University of Technology, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design at the University of Technology Sydney from 2011 to 2012. Jori also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Design from Eindhoven University of Technology, which they earned from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Jori Verbeek has obtained various certifications, including a Certificate in Project Management Master Class and a Certificate in Fundamentals in Medical Device Development, both from Holland Innovative. Jori also holds a Certificate in Technology Entrepreneurship and a Certificate in Technology Management, both from Eindhoven University of Technology.
