Angella Baker has a vast work experience spanning from 2005 to 2019. In 2005, they worked as an Office Assistant at Kwik Kar Lube & Tune, where they managed office administrative tasks for a small automotive maintenance facility. In 2006, they worked as an Administrative Assistant (Contractor through Select Staff) at The American Board of OB/GYN, where they inventoried supplies and requisitioned new office furniture, equipment, and supplies. In 2007, they worked as a Retail Administrator at Advantage Sales & Marketing, where they provided office administrative support for District and Regional Sales managers. In 2008, they worked as an Associate at Auntie Anne's, Inc., where they handled sales for hundreds of customers per day and performed and oversaw closing procedures. In 2009, they worked as a Retail Sales Rep and PDA/Tech Care Rep at T-Mobile, where they answered calls and troubleshooted phones for possible device, network, and SIM card issues. In 2012, they worked as an Enterprise and Education Support and an iOS Support, Senior Advisor at Apple, where they troubleshooted and resolved issues with iOS software, features and hardware. In 2015, they worked as a System Analyst at Accruent, where they participated in pre-install planning sessions with the client and project team. In 2016, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Cubic Corporation. Finally, from 2019 to present, they have worked as an Engineering Manager, Senior SRE I, and DevOps Engineer III at uShip, where they have lead SRE chapter and DevOps Guild, organized bookclubs to spread knowledge of SRE and DevOps tools and best practices, improved the deployment process, reduced toil through documentation and automation, and improved monitoring with Prometheus, Influx, Instana, Grafana, Speedcurve, and ELK.

Angella Baker graduated from Mansfield High School and has obtained several certifications since then. In 2012, they received a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate on Windows Server 2008 from Microsoft. In 2018, they received an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2021, they obtained an Incident Responder Certification from PagerDuty. Angella also has an Apple Certified Associate - Mac Integration 10.9 certification, although it is unclear when they obtained it.
