Thiago Paz has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to 2023. Thiago started their career as a Technical Support Specialist at Telefónica and UOL - Universo Online. Thiago then worked as a Technical Support Specialist at Braslink Network Informática and Locaweb. In 2006, they became a Networking Specialist at Linux Mall and later transitioned to an Account Manager role at Best Byte Soluções em Tecnologia.

In 2008, Thiago founded Thool Tecnologia, a Managed Service Provider. As the Founder and IT Consultant, they handled a wide range of responsibilities, including IT projects for major events like Rock in Rio and CCXP. Their work involved tasks such as planning and executing networks and servers, managing Windows and Linux servers, implementing email and file sharing services, and providing support for workstations and users.

Thiago then made a career shift to cloud computing and joined idwall as an SRE / DevOps Engineer in 2021. Thiago demonstrated their ability to adapt to complex environments by working with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and other tools to improve cloud security, migrate workloads, and support developers.

Most recently, since 2023, Thiago has been working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Userlane.

Thiago Paz attended the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo - IFSP from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a Curso Superior de Tecnologia (CST) in Análise e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas. In terms of additional certifications, Thiago obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2020 and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in February 2021. Thiago also earned certifications in Network Security, CCNA: Introduction to Networks, Cybersecurity Essentials, EFSET English Certificate (C1 Advanced), Networking Academy Learn-A-Thon 2021 from Cisco in 2021. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in Blockchain Advanced and DevOps & Agile Culture from FIAP, as well as the GitOps Fundamentals from Codefresh in 2023.
