Justin Chen is currently serving as the Head of Community and Venture Scout at Steel DAO since February 2023, focusing on pre-seed and seed investments within Bessemer's web3 team. In addition, Justin holds the role of Product & Biz Dev Lead at Peep Connect, a Techstars-backed marketing platform utilizing blockchain technology and NFT rewards. As the Head of Talent & Start-Ups at Texas Blockchain, Justin is involved in incubating early-stage web3 start-ups in the UT-Austin area. Previous experiences include positions as a Summer Analyst at PJT Partners, Private Equity & Venture Capital at UTIMCO, Private Equity Analyst at NextGen Growth Partners, and Investment Banking Analyst at Westlake Securities. Justin also co-led and served as a Business Analyst for the start-up Dive Chat. Justin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
