Emily Sanchez has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Community Intern at Color Compton in 2021. Emily then became a Norman Topping Scholar at the USC Norman Topping Student Aid Fund in 2020. In 2022, Emily joined USC Summer Programs as a Resident Advisor and also started working as a Distance Education Network Student Worker at USC Viterbi School of Engineering. Additionally, they are currently working as a Community Engagement Specialist at USC Credit Union.

Emily Sanchez obtained their Bachelor's degree in Non-Governmental Organizations and Social Change from the University of Southern California, where they attended from 2020 to 2024.
