JJ VanPletzen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and management within the consulting industry. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Global Mining and Metals at USC Consulting Group since July 2022, JJ focuses on driving operational excellence and improving financial performance for global businesses. Prior to this role, JJ held various leadership positions at Proudfoot, including Partner and EVP Operations, where responsibilities included strategic budget development, operational strategy formulation, and managing major improvement projects. JJ also has a background in strategic pricing and sales operations from positions at School Specialty and Proudfoot Consulting. JJ holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Concordia University College and received education from Nelson Mandela University and Volkskool.
