Bharat Prasad is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Principal Technical Architect at USAA since May 2005, Bharat has held significant roles including Technical Architect Lead. Prior to USAA, Bharat worked at WebMethods, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer from June 1998 to April 2005, and held the position of Senior Software Engineer at NYNEX New York from June 1992 to May 1998. Bharat's early career includes roles at Indian Telephone Industries as Assistant Executive Engineer in R&D Switching from September 1987 to December 1989, and as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Larsen & Toubro Limited for a brief period in 1987. Bharat holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
