Michael R. Stanford, Sr., PhD., CISA, CDPSE, CITRMS has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles in Information Technology. Michael R. started their career at Intel Corporation, where they served as IT Director for over 20 years, managing a $100M IT budget and leading global teams to implement infrastructure and application initiatives. After leaving Intel, they founded the Stanford IT Consultant Group, where they provided IT operational improvements and strategic planning for small and medium-sized companies. Michael R. then worked for the State of California, first as the Enterprise Risk Management Director at the Department of Motor Vehicles, and later as the Assistant Chief Information Officer for the FI$Cal Project. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing the implementation of statewide IT projects and managing vendor relationships. Most recently, they have been the Director of Information Technology at USA Properties Fund, Inc., where they oversee all technology functions throughout the company and leads company-wide initiatives. Michael has a Ph.D. and holds several certifications, including CISA, CDPSE, and CITRMS.

Michael R. obtained a degree of Doctor of Management in Leadership in Information Technology (DM/IST). In addition, they hold several certifications including CISA (obtained in January 2018), Scrum Master (obtained in January 2018), and Certified Identity Theft and Risk Management Specialist (obtained in June 2005) from the Risk Management Institute.
