Suzanne Ehlers is the Executive Director and CEO of USA for UNHCR since January 2023, previously serving as CEO of the Malala Fund from February 2020 to January 2023, where collaboration with Co-Founders Malala and Ziauddin Yousafzai and various stakeholders focused on ensuring educational access for all girls. Prior to this, Ehlers held the position of President and CEO at PAI from November 2003 to February 2020, advocating for women's health and rights and leading the organization through a crisis as Interim President and CEO. Ehlers has also worked as a Strategic Consultant at Ehlers Consulting and held positions at the Wallace Global Fund and Peace Corps, focusing on sustainable development and community partnerships. Ehlers holds a BA in Government from Cornell University.
