Roxanne De La Torre is an experienced professional in community engagement and social justice, currently serving as the NYC Cohort Coordinator for Contemplative Leaders In Action with the USA East Province Jesuits since August 2023. Prior to this role, Roxanne has held significant positions including Director of Outreach at Xavier Mission since March 2021, overseeing initiatives such as the Welcome Table and Customer's Choice Food Pantry. Roxanne's background includes leadership at Fordham University as Director of Campus and Community Engagement and Director of The Dorothy Day Center for Service and Justice from September 2015 to March 2021, as well as serving as Resident Campus Minister for Social Justice at St. John's University in 2015. Roxanne's earlier experience includes teaching and coaching at St. Peter Claver High School and administrative roles at Cabrini University. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Church of Saint Francis Xavier and a Master's degree in Religion & Religious Education from Fordham University.
