Charlie Stroup is currently the Applications Engineering Manager at US Conec Ltd. since November 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Staff Engineer at Corning Incorporated from November 2011 to November 2022, where Charlie led engineering initiatives in the Optical Communication Solutions division and held several supervisory roles in advanced measurements and metrology. Additional experience includes work as a Metrology and Calibration Engineer at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division from September 2009 to November 2011, and as a Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where Charlie developed precision laser systems. Charlie holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Guilford College.
