Elizabeth Puchek is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within federal agencies and consulting firms. Currently serving as Chief Data Officer at USCIS since November 2018, Elizabeth previously held the position of Deputy Chief Data Officer at the same organization. Prior to USCIS, Elizabeth worked at U.S. Customs and Border Protection from November 2010 to March 2018, where responsibilities included serving as Chief of Staff for Enterprise Services and leading a diverse team as Requirements & Architectures Branch Chief. Elizabeth's foundational experience includes serving as Senior Staff Engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, specializing in structural engineering and project management for significant construction projects. Educational qualifications include both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University, completed in 2006.
