Jordan Wright is an experienced propulsion engineer currently serving as the Lead Propulsion Engineer at Ursa Major since April 2021. In this role, Jordan focuses on system modeling and actuator design for precision throttling valves. Previously, Jordan held positions as Propulsion Engineer II and Propulsion Design Engineer, leading fluid and mechanical systems for the Ripley Engine and engaging in clean sheet design of LOx isolation valves. Jordan's experience includes a Product Engineer CO-OP position at Moog Aircraft, where an automated image capturing system was developed, and an internship at Clarke Valve, which involved redesigning product lines and automating CAD modeling. Additionally, Jordan led external structures for the UB SEDS team at the University at Buffalo, where engineering students built rockets for competitions. Jordan earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 2021.
