Michael Toohey has a solid work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent position is as the Director of Compliance at UroGen Pharma, a role they have held since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Shionogi Inc. for seven years, starting as an Associate Director of Compliance in May 2014 and leaving in June 2021. At Shionogi Inc., they were responsible for managing compliance training functions and the aggregate spend system and processes. Before joining Shionogi, Michael was the Operations Training Manager at AIG from July 2012 to May 2014. Michael also had a long tenure at Merck & Co., Inc., where they held various roles including Leader of Business Practices & Compliance from 2009 to 2012, Manager of Global Marketing Training from 2002 to 2010, and Manager of the Management Development Program from 1999 to 2002.

Michael Toohey earned an MBA in Human Resource Administration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University between 1995 and 1998. Michael also obtained a certification as a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) in September 2016.
