Darcy Roszell is an experienced community planner currently serving as the Kelowna Chapter Lead for Protect Our Winters Canada since May 2023. Prior to this role, Roszell has held various planning positions including Community Planner at Urban Systems Ltd. since May 2021, Planner at the Regional District of Central Kootenay from May 2017 to October 2019, and Development Officer at the Town of Canmore from May 2016 to May 2017. Additional planning experience includes a role as Planner I at the Town of Cochrane, Alberta, from September 2014 to December 2015 and Planner at the District of Kitimat from April 2013 to September 2014. Roszell holds a Bachelor's degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Ryerson University, a Massive Open Online Course in Indigenous Studies from the University of Alberta, and has participated in a Planning Studies Exchange focused on City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning at Birmingham City University.
