Varun Mehta is a Creative Director at Urban Monkey since May 2020 and the Founder of ARC.HV®, established in March 2018, which emphasizes collaborative learning and creative exploration beyond financial constraints. Mehta has a background as a Design Architect at studio tessera and The Busride Design Studio from March 2018 to July 2019, gaining expertise in various design scales and hands-on fabrication processes. Previously, Mehta worked at studio eight twenty three as an Architect, where early experiences in fabrication significantly influenced their design approach. Mehta holds a Master's degree in Advanced Computation in Architecture and Design from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, completed in January 2022, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Mumbai, earned in 2017.
