Paige Thompson is an experienced research professional specializing in justice policy. Currently serving as a Research Associate at the Urban Institute's Justice Policy Center since July 2018, Paige focuses on projects related to policing technology, community crime reduction, human trafficking, and criminal justice policy, with key responsibilities in data management, analysis, and research study design. Previously, as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy, Paige contributed to federally funded research on police response to mental health in rural areas. Additional experience includes roles at the Richmond Justice Initiative and the Maxine Platzer Lynn Women's Center, where Paige promoted awareness of human trafficking and engaged in discussions on women and justice. Paige holds a Master of Arts in Criminology, Law, and Society from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
