Sutton King, MPH has a diverse work experience. Sutton is currently the Co-Director at the Urban Indigenous Collective since June 2022 and has been serving as the President since June 2021. Sutton was also the Co-Founder and Executive Director from June 2019 to June 2021. Additionally, they founded Sutton King Consulting in 2019, where they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer. Sutton also worked as a Program Manager at the Indigenous Medicine Conservation Fund from October 2021 until the present. Sutton co-founded ShockTalk in July 2020 and was a Co-Founder there. Furthermore, they have held various roles at Journey Colab, including Head of Impact (August 2021-December 2021), Founding Chief Impact Officer (September 2020-August 2021), and currently serves as an Impact Advisor & Trustee starting from December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Indigenous Program Officer at Riverstyx Foundation from August 2021 to October 2021. Sutton also worked at Florida State University - College of Nursing as a Communications and Cultural Consultant from October 2019 to October 2020. Sutton served as a Graduate Research Consultant at The University of New Mexico from June 2019 to June 2020. Before that, they held the position of Wellness Director at New York Indian Council, Inc. from November 2018 to June 2019. Lastly, they worked at Kognito where they held multiple roles including Tribal Program and Client Specialist from December 2016 to November 2018, and Research Coordinator, Health Programs from October 2015 to September 2017.

Sutton King, MPH holds a Master's degree in Global health from New York University, which was obtained from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, Sutton King completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of Mount Saint Vincent, from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their academic degrees, Sutton King has obtained several certifications, including Financial Conflicts of Interest from The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in 2019, Clinical Research Coordinator Certification (CRC) from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in 2019, and Social & Behavioral Research from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in 2018, among others.
