Scott Paterson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

Scott is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Urban Farms Inc since August 2019.

Before that, Scott was the Owner and Founder of WPPlugin LLC, a company that developed WordPress eCommerce plugins and software. Scott held this position from January 2015 onwards.

In 2018, Scott co-founded HydroBot LLC, where they developed a home hydroponic automation device and successfully launched it through a Kickstarter campaign. Scott worked at HydroBot LLC until December 2020.

Prior to these ventures, Scott was a self-employed IT Consultant and Programmer from July 2013 to June 2014.

At HPN, Scott served as a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, and Project Manager. Scott designed and wrote software for medical billing, medical record, and 3D digital imaging systems used by over 80,000 patients. Scott worked at HPN from June 2011 to June 2013.

Scott Paterson attended Santa Fe College from 2005 to 2007, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Journalism. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Florida from 2008 to 2010, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Advertising.
