Susie B. is an experienced professional in the fields of media, education, and library services. Currently serving as a Specialist in Reference and Public Services at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since March 2022, Susie B. assists patrons with research and duplication services. As a Curator for Urban Dictionary since April 2021, responsibilities include managing a word of the day calendar, conducting archival research, and overseeing social media engagement. Susie B. has also held various teaching roles at the Los Angeles Unified School District since January 2019 and contributed to video production at KCRW as a Videographer and Production Assistant. Previous experience includes photography and videography at BioSpine Institute. Susie B. holds a Bachelor's degree in Film & Media Studies and English from the University of Florida and is pursuing a Master of Library & Information Science at San Jose State University.
