Andreas Kyrtatos serves as the Chief Executive Officer of embotech since March 2018, focusing on the development of software for autonomous systems with a team of 75 professionals. Previously, Andreas held the role of Chief Operating Officer at embotech, overseeing strategy, business development, and financial planning. As a Member of The Board Of Advisors at Urban Connect AG since May 2021, Andreas contributes expertise in governance. Prior experience includes serving as General Manager PMO & Digitalisation Programme at Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd., managing a department of 25 staff and leading a digital transformation initiative, and various roles at Wärtsilä, where critical projects included developing the largest marine diesel engine and a common rail fuel injection system. Andreas's educational background encompasses a BEng & MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, studies in European & International Business Law at Universität St. Gallen, and advanced courses in digital business transformation and project management.
