Ila Agarwal is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Urban Company since October 2015, Ila has held various leadership roles including Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager, as well as Senior Software Engineer. Previously, Ila worked at Cvent as a Senior Mobile Developer, focusing on iOS feature design and automated localization. Additional experience includes leading mobile game development at Droisys Inc., implementing trading algorithms at Volant Trading, conducting research at Columbia University, and contributing to the development of image processing tools at Newgen Software. Ila holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
