Eleni Theodoropoulos is the VP of Quality, Research & Measurement at URAC. Eleni has over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on data management and analytics.
Eleni started their career at VHC Health in April 2005 as the Manager of Clinical and Business Intelligence. In this role, Eleni oversaw the operations and staff of the Clinical and Business Intelligence team, which was responsible for data preparation, warehousing, reporting, analytics, and data exploration. Eleni also assisted with establishing vision, delivery, and prioritization for projects, and provided technical leadership and direction for data automation and improvement.
In 2010, Eleni helped to develop a data governance committee and processes to unify existing reporting and analytic functions across the functional areas of the hospital. Eleni also coordinated with internal engineering for system optimization and troubleshooting, and with various vendors for demos, selection, pricing, scheduling, implementation, training, upgrades, etc.
Eleni was responsible for interviewing, monitoring, and conducting team members reviews for mid-year and annual performance evaluations. Eleni also provided team guidance and coaching as needed, delegated tasks and responsibilities, and participated in ongoing education activities.
In September 2015, Eleni left VHC Health to join URAC as the VP of Quality, Research & Measurement. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing URAC’s quality improvement initiatives and research studies.
Eleni Theodoropoulos has a Bachelor of Science in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University. Eleni is also certified by HIMSS as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).
