Alice Brathwaite is a highly experienced legal professional with a distinguished background in litigation, product risk, and intellectual property/brand management. Currently serving as Senior Director at Upwork since July 2020, Alice also holds the role of Counsel in employment and litigation. Additionally, Alice is a Founding Member of Level, a network dedicated to advancing racial equity through angel investing and dialogue on the racial wealth gap. Previous experience includes a Counsel position at Grubhub, a Labor Employment Associate role at JONES DAY®, and serving as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Ann Claire Williams at the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Alice holds a Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Stanford University.
