Omer Yousafzai is a skilled Software Engineer with experience at Uptycs since January 2022, initially contributing to the development and maintenance of DevOps and SRE tools and currently working within the DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering team, focusing on production deployments with Ansible and managing container orchestration with Kubernetes. Prior to Uptycs, Omer served as a Project Coordinator in Network Engineering at AMK, PVT LTD, where responsibilities included network design, deployment of fiber optic cables, and management of a local area network. Omer began the professional journey as an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Co. B.V. and possesses a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Northeastern University, along with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar.
