Nitzan Yemal is a seasoned DevOps professional with extensive experience in leading and designing backend infrastructure, particularly in AWS environments utilizing serverless technologies. Currently serving as a DevOps Tech Lead and previously as a DevOps Engineer at Upstream Security since November 2019, Nitzan has spearheaded CI/CD implementations across research and development teams involving Jenkins, shared libraries, and static analysis tools. Prior to Upstream Security, Nitzan held a DevOps Engineer position at Vonage from October 2016 to October 2019 and contributed to the design of development environment solutions at SAP from April 2014 to October 2016. Nitzan began a career in technology as a Datacenter Technician in Israeli Military Intelligence between 2008 and 2011, where responsibilities included maintenance of physical servers and team leadership. Nitzan holds an Engineerā€™s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University, obtained in 2016.
