Jim Everett is a seasoned software architect and project leader with extensive experience in modern architectural styles, ranging from classic three-tier systems to distributed micro-services. Currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at Upstart since October 2020, Jim has previously held significant engineering and consulting roles at HMB, Optum, and Poudre School District. Jim's expertise includes leading large development teams on multi-million dollar projects and designing custom solutions to meet client needs. Jim holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from William & Mary, obtained in 2005 and 2001, respectively, and is a Microsoft certified professional (MCSD).
