Katherine Kelter realized her passion for impact investing in college, dedicating her senior thesis to exploring impact investing as an alternative to foreign aid dependency in Tanzania. Prior to joining Upstart Co-Lab, Katherine served as an account manager at the global crowdfunding platform Kiva where she helped strategic partners make micro-loans, expanding financial access for underserved communities. Earlier in her career, Katherine worked for the Chem Chem Association, implementing a microfinance program for women in Tanzania.
