Amber Johnston currently serves as the Director of Community Education and Volunteer Services at Upper Valley Haven, a position held since June 2014. Prior to this role, Amber Johnston was the Psychosocial Team Leader at Africa and Middle East Refugee Assistance in Egypt from January 2012 to June 2014 and served as the Psychosocial Programs Coordinator at Wyman Worldwide Health Partners from 2009 to 2011. Educational achievements include a Master of Arts in Globalization from Dartmouth College (2005-2008) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Anthropology from Union College (1995-1999).
