Jamie Sundberg has a diverse work experience in the energy industry, mainly with the Upper Peninsula Power Company. They started working at the company in 2004 as a Lead Lineman and later progressed to become a System Operations Supervisor and a System Operations Supervisor/Training Consultant. In 2020, Jamie held the role of Operations Supervisor at the company. Currently, they are working as an Account Executive. Overall, Jamie has demonstrated expertise in operations and leadership within the energy sector.

Jamie Sundberg obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Workplace Leadership from Northern Michigan University, with a duration of study from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, Jamie earned an Associate's degree in Electric transmission system technology from Bismarck State College, attending from 2017 to 2018. In 2003 to 2004, Jamie also completed a Power line technician certificate at Bay de Noc Community College, specializing in Electrical and Power Transmission Installation/Installer, General. Additionally, Jamie obtained a Reliability Coordinator certificate in Electrical from SOS University.

Jamie has also obtained several certifications including Systems Thinking in Workplace Leadership - LDR 400 and Assessment in the Workplace - LDR 220 from Northern Michigan University in 2020. Jamie also received a Leadership in Diverse Workplaces - LDR 300 certification from the same institution in 2020. Other certifications include HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED from the American Heart Association in 2017, Journeyman Lineman from the Department of Labor in 2007, and a Power Line Technician certification from Bay de Noc Community College in 2004. Jamie's other certifications include CUSP from USOLN in 2021, a Commercial Driver License (CDL) from the State of Michigan, the OSHA 10 Hour General Industry Course from CareerSafe Online, and QPR from the QPR Institute.
