Colleen Wright is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Coordinator for Upper Arlington City Schools since October 2015, with a prior role as Executive Assistant for Communications. Wright's extensive background includes over a decade at The Columbus Dispatch from June 2004 to October 2015, where responsibilities included editing various sections, overseeing travel and feature sections, and writing the "Celebrity scoop" feature. Wright also held positions at The Columbia Missourian as a copy-editing teaching assistant and The Kansas City Star as a Dow Jones Newspaper Fund copy-editing intern. Wright holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completed in 2004, and graduated from Mercy High School in 2000.
