Steve Callas is the Owner and Founder of UMatter, a role held since August 2013, focusing on inspiring individuals to reach their full potential and live purposefully. In addition, Steve has been a Lead Software Engineer at UPMC since 1998, where responsibilities include supporting and developing equipment management software using various programming tools and languages. Previous experience includes a position as a Foxpro Developer from 1995 to 2016 and as a Programmer at James Boyd Associates from September 1996 to July 1998. Steve served in the US Navy from March 1985 to March 1991 as a Nuclear Operator, leading a team in the control room of a Nuclear Cruiser. Steve's education in computer technology was also completed in the US Navy during the same period.
