Greg Vallano, MBA, has extensive experience in financial leadership and analysis, currently serving as Director of Finance at UPMC since June 2015. Vallano oversees a team managing financial operations for four hospitals with over $1 billion in annual expenses, driving business enhancements and strategic initiatives to improve patient outcomes and hospital growth. Through process improvements using Power BI and automation projects, significant labor hours have been saved, enabling better operational support. Prior roles at UPMC included Senior Financial Analyst, focusing on project management and financial modeling for an $8 billion revenue budget across 40 hospitals. Vallano's educational background includes an MBA in Business Analytics from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Economics from Allegheny College.
