Jon Lenck has extensive work experience in the packaging industry, primarily with UPM Raflatac and UPM-Kymmene. Jon started their career as the Managing Director (Sales) for UPM Pack Sp. in Poland in 1998. Jon later served as the Area Sales Director for East-European countries and Turkey, leading the Sales teams and contributing to significant market share growth. Jon then took on the role of General Manager, responsible for the planning, negotiation, and start-up of a greenfield factory in Poland. Subsequently, Jon held positions as the Commercial Director and Business Segment Director with UPM Raflatac in Europe, focusing on profitable growth, product portfolio management, and sales leadership. Their responsibilities also included the development and commercialization of sustainable label materials. Overall, Jon brings over two decades of experience in sales, management, and business development to their work.
Jon Lenck completed their MSc (Econ. & Bus. Adm.) degree in Business and Economics from the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku from 1986 to 1993. In 2008 to 2009, they also pursued a Leadership Booster, Executive Education degree in Organizational Leadership from IMD.
