Farshid Arman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy and technology sectors, currently serving as Vice President of VPP Operations at Uplight since February 2024. Previously, Arman held a similar role at AutoGrid from 2019 to February 2024, focusing on program design, consumer recruitment, and utility program management. Arman also spent time as COO of ThorDrive, where responsibilities included funding and business strategy for an autonomous driving startup. Prior roles include Sr. Director of Energy Technologies at Siemens, where involvement spanned smart grid and renewable energy solutions, and VP of Products at Kaleris, which specialized in logistics management software. As co-founder and VP of Products at H2Volt, Arman contributed to the development of hydrogen-based energy storage solutions. Arman holds a PhD and an MS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a BS in Bioengineering from the University of New Mexico and Executive Education from the University of California, Berkeley.
